This isn't a news site. There's no guarantee of timeliness on any of the links submitted here.

This old article could be of interest again as all schooling and most work takes place at home, over computer. A reminder of what some of the remote monitoring capabilities are, and what boundaries those in charge of them will cross.

Probably not a relevant cautionary tale unless a bunch of students were expected to be stuck at home with their school computers.

Oh wait, that's basically all students right now.

Also, there are tons of front page stories that aren't recent. The wiki page for Boids recently made a splash. Recency is not the axis we optimize for, interest is.

OK, point well taken. But I did click on the link assuming this was a recent development. Too bad there isn't something in the headline to indicate its age.
