Ask HN: PostgreSQL config generator pricing model

I'm making a postgres config generator to help people tune RDS databases for performance and efficiency. By nature, it is mainly a one-time or low re-use service, yet basically all current Saas pricing advice says you should go for a subscription model. Does anyone know what this service would sell for or how it might be turned into a recurring revenue service?
