Ask HN: How do you handle feedback on your code reviews and stay motivated?
I often see posts about how to be nicer on your code reviews which is great to see. But I have noticed I can take some of the feedback I get from code reviews a bit too personally. Rarely do I think the feedback I get is malicious in nature, but it is often blunt like many developers including myself can be. I also realize my code is not perfect by any means even as a more senior dev that just hasn't had to work in this sort of a more structured environment until now.
I am aware this is something I need to deal with more on my end as I may have my own... perhaps depressive issues or imposter syndrome-y things going... I was just curious how others handle it.
(Yes, I know just get over it is probably the goto advice, which is what I try to do atm, but any other constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated!!)
