Ask HN: Solutions for wearable proximity sensors (for social distancing)?

1 points by vekker ↗ HN
Hi,

I am looking for wearables that can help with real-time proximity detection (that for example vibrate when you are too close). The context being the coronavirus & social distancing (in a corporate/industrial environment) of course.

Examples of a few Belgian companies working on this:

  - RTLoc: https://rtloc.com/
  - Romware: https://www.romware.io/
  - Lopos SafeDistance: https://www.lopos.be/en/
Also, I was wondering if anyone knows of open-source solutions, or apps. I find a lot of examples of contact tracing tech, but no real-time detection. I guess with an app for example it's a bit difficult due to the accuracy of bluetooth & gps signals.

Thank you for any leads you may have!
