Ask HN: Input on ridiculously small needs. Cloud, and which Cloud?

Hello I've traditionally been a SI for behemoth preexisting or software projects that have architecture chosen by fiat. I've got an opportunity now to choose the complete stack for some clients. Goals are to stay small and functional during development (read consumption based) and be able to grow to production workloads without having to throw it out.

That's pointing me towards dynamodb, bigquery, for nosql'ing and minisql for sql. Thoughts? Experience what should i look into?
