How would you explain HTTP request/response to a new coder?

A lot of new coders struggle with understanding with http request/response and I spent the last few days t writing an article to see if I could explain this using an analogy as well as explain the basics of scaling a web app.

Can folks at the Hacker News community please provide some feedback? Would you agree with this approach? Any advice/recommendation on the analogy or other areas you think the article should cover?
