Ask HN: Which ecosystem has the best code generation tools

Hi HN, I do a lot of web development and am tired of writing CRUD logic. Basic boilerplate generation for models, controllers and even templates based on some spec seems like a solvable problem and there already exist a lot of tools for it.

Have you used something like this and can talk about the experience? Even if its outside of web apps.
