There are two kinds of dangers now and there are proponents on both sides of the aisle. One is to give a pause to all labor laws in a bid to bring more economic reforms and kickstart the economy. And other danger is this - bring so many regulations and policing in the economy that the few remaining investors will be scared out of the market. We need a balanced approach here.

Everybody already has the right to work where they want, or not at all. In order to work from home, you need to find a suitable employer or self-employ.
The perverse righteous-sounding name of this initiative actually means they want to take way the employer's right to not hire people who don't want to work (in office). Which of course is insanity and also a violation of employer's property rights. But not to worry - the gov has a technology, called printing press...
