Ask HN: How do I decide faster and with confidence?

Even when I'm doing something trivial like playing a video game, I tend to over think decisions like"which character should I put in my main party?" and you can imagine how that negatively scales to more important decisions. Introspectively, it feels like I don't do well with greys as opposed to black and white (leading to analysis paralysis), and I tend to think back on if it was correct or not.

Has anyone improved their decision making time and confidence in their not clear cut decisions, and if so, do you have tips to share?
