Application Development Post Covid

What pressures, challenges and issues face Modern App Development (MAD) in a post COVID world ?

My current Monolith to Microservices project has just been postponed by at least 3 months. It involved refactoring a 10 yr old .net on-prem monolith into a microservices based system running in the cloud.
