Ask HN: Workflow and Document Management Recomendations?

Just wondering what's a good workflow/document management application. Any recommendations?

We're using Confluence and had a look at Asana, Notion, Roam. A lot of these tools seem feature-rich and performance is quite slow. We're looking for something that supports Markdown and even better would have some accessibility from the command line to post things so there's less of a context-switch and overhead for developers.
