Ask HN: What do you think of generic payment mechanism across paywalls?

I like to read articles, especially ones that top the HN list. However, many of them are behind paywall. I can pay for 1-2, but don't want to pay for all.

Is there any app/market for someone to build a generic paywall integration? Pay upfront for articles and just click one button to read on a paywall.

Apple news and Google news are good aggregators but sometimes they won't have the article I want to read. Are there any alternatives?
