Ask HN: What is the cheapest API for ACH transactions?

I've been looking for cheaper API alternatives to Stripe, specifically for ACH transactions. The main reason I am looking is because to have a good user experience, you need to use Stripe + Plaid for the user to add a bank account seamlessly, but Plaid is like $500 a month which is ridiculous. Any alternative suggestions?
