Is anyone else routinely demoralized by release processes? (bad-code-considered-harmful.blogspot.com)

Writing code is fun, but being a software developer has been a depressing occupation for me at most of the places I've worked. I'm pretty sure it's because I dread the follow up work after the coding portion of each project is completed.
