Swarm-Able Server OS for Native Container Orchestration

Now that we're all running Kubernetes ON TOP OF Linux... essentially two operating systems... when is someone just going to cut the fat and collapse these into one?

The hypervisors must have custom linux variants they've rolled that accomplish this no?

And make it swarm-able with other machines?
