Ask HN: Is there a open-source metadata system like CRM dynamics?

I am looking for a metadata system where you can create entities and fields mapped to these entities in order to create a form-heavy application similar to a CRM (Both salesforce as well as Microsoft dynamics have their own version of this system). But, I haven't come across an open-source one yet. Any leads would be appreciated.
