Ask HN: Remote transmission of tactile sensations (e-novia). What is your take?
Hi HN,
Italian tv recently submitted a report [0] about a company called e-novia. [1]
Basically the company claims to be able to transmit remotely any tactile data and physically reproduce it on the remote partner's hand. Any tactile sensation, including the temperature (e.g. sensation of cold/warm).
I never heard about anything similar and seems impressive and revolutionary.
I tried to search HN for the company's name or url and it return 0 occurrences.
I am wondering about HN take about that and the tech stack which could be behind that.
Thank you for any feedback.
