HN has became part of my daily routine, i wonder what other websites / news aggregator / app do you use for getting informed ?

I've experimented with rss readers like Feedly. I have a few go-to news sources and websites - it's nice to have all of the top stories in one place.

Techmeme.com. It's the best aggregator and has been for over a decade IMHO.

And I appreciate the pithy article summaries.

Any good ones discussing stocks/company analysis/competitive markets etc? I started writing about investing in innovation last year and looking for like minded people to discuss companies/business models/competitive advantages etc. Not interested in trading or sites that simply share recent headlines. Thanks.

It's a side project of mine that uses article/historical semantic analysis to find objective news. It not super accurate but surfaces some interesting reads.

The issue is that / redirects to /news even on back button presses (Chromium 83). Since you linked to / instead of /news, it gets stuck in a redirect loop.

Interesting concept. Is there any more information on the methods used and a way to look at dates other than today?

Not yet an aggregator per se, as there are no people to submit the news, but I'm building https://littr.me/about, which is an (old)reddit like link aggregator with ActivityPub support.

The idea would be that communities can put up their own instances of it, and then participate in the larger fediverse and interact with one another.

There's still some way to go, to fulfill this goal, but I'm slowly making my way there.
