I stopped here because you make 2 significant mistakes. first of all someone stopped by the police is not necessarily a criminal, that is for the court to decide. and secondly, if you hadn't noticed,the rights of people stopped by the police are regularly having their rights trampled on and ignored.

yes their job is difficult but they are trained and armed. If unarmed UK police can detain a knife wielding assailant without shooting them when can't the US police? they do not use de-escalation as a tactic ever, they police by force not consent.
