What I think is interesting is that these are all Type A personalities who focused for 40 straight years on one thing: Money.

So they made it. Now what? Only two more worries: A) their life ending B) the world ending

So they now focus all of their energies on those two. Its interesting how many choose Ashtanga Yoga to prolong their lives. they must've done their research. Great post!

Why is this posted on Hacker News? I find it rather offensive as it does NOT seem to belong here.
You really find it "offensive?"

Your account was created 9 days ago, and this is your only comment thus far.

Yes I find it offensive because it doesn't seem to contain real content but appears to be a revenue generation scheme and something I used to appreciate about hacker news was it's lack of blatant crap articles.

The point in time I created my account bears no evidence towards the duration with which I have read hacker news or any previous accounts I may have held here.

Something you "used to appreciate about hacker news"?

What, like, last week when you first joined?

Oh, yes, those were the good old days!

Actually 37 days ago right before you created your account...

Seriously donnacha you're being kind of a prick here. Given that I feel like this post is an SEO trick and your specialization appears to be SEO...

Seriously, Stuckite, are you on crack?

Quite apart from the fact that my website makes it clear that my business is secure installations of WordPress and not SEO, it is a tad dumb of you not to have noticed that that there is zero SEO benefit to commenting on HN - the standard link above my comment is to my HN profile and that doesn't even list my website.

The only way to connect me with my business would be if you were so incredibly PARANOID about other commenters, so crazy to prove yourself right in an essentially meaningless forum, that you would go to the insane lengths of googling to find dirt on them ... and, failing to find dirt, make some shit up.

I said 9 days because bhousel said 9 days and, no, I didn't bother to fact-check that piece of information, I didn't rush to look at your profile, because what we are doing here is ... drum roll please ... HAVING SOME FUN!!!

Now, as it turns out, bhousel was wrong ... by ONE DAY. Your profile says that you created your account 10 days ago, not the 37 days you claim. Really. Feel free to go take a look.

So, wow, not only are you this completely paranoid freak who goes around googling your fellow HN commenters but, bizarrely, you're also too lazy to quickly double-check your own profile to make sure that you aren't about to make the provably false claim that you registered 37 days ago. I mean, why would you do that? What are you thinking?

And, no, I'm not being a prick here; you're the zero-karma ass whose very first comment to HN was to make a completely ridiculous complaint about the submitter - the submitter who has, you know, actually DONE something, not just sat in the audience whinging.

Armchair critics like you never amount to much, they certainly don't launch start-ups, so, please, save us your pearls of wisdom and feel free to go on back to sucking on your crack pipe.

If you think about it most of them have sacrificed so much of their life to be successful they want to prolong their life so they can enjoy spoils of success. Most successful people are good with the delayed gratification. The really rich do some weird things.

Some things these rich people are doing besides yoga. - Isoloation/Float tanks- totally relaxes them and releases them from stress. Also creates a great environment to be creative. Shuts off all sensory input and it is just you and your mind.

- office treadmills: they have treadmills that go for 1 mile per hour. people can walk and work at the same time.Rupert murdoch son is known to use it. There is this theory where people are unhealthy and have heart problems because they sit around all day. The body is meant to move. Constant movement not only creates a higher metabolism, but it also makes you feel better becasue of endorphins. There is also a belief that good physiology = good psychology.
