Ask HN: What are sources/strategies to make opinions on George Floyd Protests?

After seeing pretty explosive responses to Tom Cotton's NYT's 'Send in the Military', I am trying to research more to form my opinions about the protesting vs. looting and feel hopelessly lost.

I have gone through 'fact checkers', the big news outlets and 'crowd opinions' (twitter, reddit).

Are there any decent quality sites similar to reddit's OOTL? (in this particular case the mods of that subreddit locked the thread for that article)
