Immediately I put this in the same category as "The truth is out there!"

Whether you agree with him or not, the key message of the article is that the complete lockdown will likely destroy many careers and people’s financial livelihood. Was and is it worth it?

My personal take is both yes and no. Yes, that some should be quarantined for safety such as older generations, but not a complete lockdown. There is to be a huge wake of financial devastation in the years to come.

Key questions I have:

- is everyone ok with increasing taxes 5% or 10% across the board to pay for the past few months?

- was it worth 10s of millions losing jobs?

- was it worth many people not being able to afford things like nest eggs or education for their children due to economic fallout?

- was it worth many local governments now being in financial ruin due to the past few months?
