NY Times editorial page editor resigns amid fury over op-ed (apnews.com)

What a shitshow for the NYT. Breitbart probably has better editorial control.

I had been very annoyed by the editorial decisions at the NYTimes over the past few weeks, because they are incredibly weak when it comes to actually reporting on what the Whitehouse is doing. They seem more interested in covering for politicians than being blunt and honest. I had attempted a few times to cancel my online sub (they don't make it easy). Finally did it immediately after reading this treasonous editorial. It's one thing to host a multitude of views, it's another to use a platform with considerable reach to advocate for political violence.

Plenty of other journalistic outlets that can use my subscription dollars instead.

He didn't even read it before approving it. Amazing. No wonder he had to resign.
