Bonnie Pointer founding member of The Pointer Sisters has died at the age of 69

She died on Monday, according to her sister and fellow singer Anita, Bonnie’s sister Anita says she was her best friend and the band would never have happened without her.

Bonnie Pointer was a founding member of The Pointer Sisters along with her siblings, June, Ruth and Anita. Their music included R&B, funk, rock and roll, gospel, country and soul.
