Ask HN: Alternatives to Kafka Connect?

I am looking for an easy way to send streaming (binary) data to various storage endpoints. In the past I've used Kafka Connect [0], which does what I want, but I don't want to setup a Kafka cluster just for this. It would be overkill. Is there anything like Kafka Connect, but without Kafka?
