Ask HN: Is there a “Best” technology for computer glasses?

After many years of staring at a screen, I am already at a +3 magnification with blue blocking on computer glasses. I normally wear prescription progressive lenses for everyday use and they are OK but for long days staring at a computer screen, I wanted to invest in the best pair I can get. I need more sharpness and clarity if possible.

Any suggestions on lens types and technologies that you have had good luck with?
