Ask HN: Is it possible to use Go (board game) to illustrate politics?

I was wondering if it could be possible to represent the moves of 2 different political parties using the game of Go. Why? Because good Go strategies and tactics boil down to stone positions, proximity, to one another. Political cohesion. Whereas political distancing means fragility to domination.

Thoughts on that to expand the allegory? Tks
