Apologies for the annoying popups, but this was the best source I could find that just stuck to the content of the order itself.

This is aimed at them, and other areas where compliance has been low. My girlfriend and I were in Tahoe recently for the weekend. While we were there, almost nobody was wearing masks, inside or outside. In contrast, back home in the Bay Area, people are mostly wearing masks.

The GF and I wear masks pretty much whenever we go out anywhere, unless it's out for a walk, so, this shouldn't change our behavior a bit. The only thing that is actually different from what we do now is that it says we're technically required to wear a mask if we're riding in a car together. I'm not sure if cops will be pulling people over for this, but, I can guarantee you whatever germs she has, I already got from her. :P

I'm somewhat shocked by the number of people not wearing them in San Francisco at this point (after so many government and private demands that they do so). A minority, but not at all an uncommon sight.
I haven't been to SF in 3 months, but most of the places we tend to go have pretty good mask compliance. The one exception is this one particular Pac-n-Save that obviously doesn't give a shit. We observed employees without masks, a security guard without one, and one guy who walked in with a headband over his nose. Needless to say, we reported that to the local PD and health department.
