Ask HN: WWDC news on improved iOS support for Web apps?

iOS is the only significant part of the web where users can't use the browser engine they want, which gives Apple a great deal of power to impede the development of the web platform, not just for iOS users but for everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard from or can ask Apple what new web capabilities Safari for iOS 14 is adding. Best not to mention PWAs by name, because that name is associated with Google and annoys Apple, but someone please ask about "installable, offline web app support". (Apple seems okay with "installable web app" as a name, and I like it more too, but I don't get the feeling they like it as a concept.)
