Ask HN: Is Anybody Here Using Google's Apigee Edge in Production?

I'm learning about Apigee [1] at the moment evaluating its potential for my company. And as much as I can tell so far from the documentation and playing around with it a bit I have to say I'm left sceptical. Apigee doesn't seem to get much love or promotion from Google. The design seems antiquated and prone for chaos when unleashed on a heterogeneous APIscape. The documentation is pretty outdated as well. Also I don't see any vision for it. There seems to be very little community activity on the usual sites. The overall flair of working with it reminds me of good old ColdFusion.

Is somebody here willing to share some first or second hand experience with it?
