Ask HN: Can Android phones still compete with the iPhone?

iPhone has the fastest processor by a large margin [0], the most popular wearables that sell like crazy [1], Apple Glasses headset is around the corner [2], and now iOS apps will be able to run on macOS. Is it possible for Android phones to compete with this on anything else but price?
