As a common man, it was fascinating to see how the sun goes through solar activity cycles:
1. The first one-third was really active.
2. The activity started slowing down in the next one-third.
3. Sun seems to be taking a pause in the last one-third.
A couple of other things that I noticed:
1. The poles are, relatively, quiet for the entire duration.
2. The solar activity takes place mostly in two bands, both equidistant from the equatorial plane.
Maybe, an astrophysicist or some knowledge folks can explain these things in a much better way?
