Ask HN: What's the state of blockchain for business use?

Seems like "XYZ on blockchain!" had a massive hype train about 4-5 years ago, then fell into "it's 99% baloney" land about 2-3 years ago (much discussed here on HN, e.g. "You Do Not Need Blockchain: Popular Use Cases and Why They Do Not Work").

I'm just curious on what the current state is for using blockchain for anything besides cryptocurrencies. Is anyone working on any blockchain projects that use besides "cool demo"/toy, and actually has sizable use in its network?
