Ask HN: Favourite process/ceremony for staying connected with co-workers?

I've been tasked with coming up with new things to try for keeping the engineering department connected.

I'm interested in hearing what are your thoughts on that but also what's your previous experience.

It can be a fun activity for bonding or even a weekly formal ceremony or a process. For fostering better relations between people but also to ensure inclusivity and diversity.
