A name like that is going to select very strongly for a certain audience, and one that is quite a bit narrower than 'woke.' You're going to get a lot of Nazis and similar fellow travelers.
I have to agree. I think the current baseline of not publicly expressing bigotry and being respectful of others' feelings is a pretty good one.
On the other hand, bigotry is conditioned and spreads from person to person. Some people grow up with it and change later in life.
If you are at any point caught expressing it publicly, you can be tarred and feathered for life and never be able to find a job again, even if you change your views.
You are right. Have no affiliation and just found the site interesting, the politicisation of workplaces/hiring is a concerning development and shouldn't be the norm. Think it's intended to stir the pot a bit. When there's HR managers in CA who openly say they won't hire those they politically disagree with, these sorts of things are a response. By law you can't discriminate based on political affiliation in the state yet some seem happy to proudly state otherwise.
The overuse of the word Nazi is really problematic also and I'd suggest using alternatives. It's loses meaning when directed at large swathes of people who have never hurt a person in their life, it's quite disrespectful to the memory of those actually affected by Nazis.

You are talking about people that want to establish an ethnostate and quite literally kill anyone that is not their favored race. This is about identifying the threat of violence before it becomes violence.
This is a talking point I have frequently seen by modern white nationalist apologists across the web. It is extremely distressing to see such things here on HN.
The site isn't apolitical; it's explicitly a hiring board for "conservatives [and] libertarians".
For what it's worth, it's also seemingly run by a malformed entity; despite claiming a Delaware nexus in their terms of service, the company, "Unwoke, Inc.", isn't registered in Delaware; in fact, the name isn't even reserved for a pending registration.

Neither ideal, nor tolerant.
