This is what the smart city brings you. Mass surveillance. Billions of dollars in spytech. Police militarization. The destruction of privacy and human autonomy. These people play pathetic PR games with their meaningless snarky tweets while collecting paychecks to create the global smart prison that will be our new reality. A thousand eyes watching you at all times, your car, your watch, your phone, your face. Watching and listening. There will be no escape from the suffering. This is what the 5G network promises to escalate. It is a surveillance network first and last, by design.

I thought that this was hyperbole, but a little research has changed my mind:

"4G can support about 4,000 devices per square kilometre, whereas 5G will support around one million." [0]

To give a sense of scale, the most densely populated municipality in the US has a population density of about 20,000 people per square kilometre.
