Ask HN: How do you conduct remote coding interviews?

I need to conduct a few coding interviews next week. Given the pandemic, I can't invite the candidates to an onsite interview.

I would like to be able to monitor how they go on about their coding challenges and also be able to talk to them while they figure out the solutions.

I could set up a live video call via zoom/skype with a remote desktop client to see how they go about their coding.

Are there other ways of going about this. Any suggestions would be welcome.
