People don’t have anything to do, are out of work, are tired of being at home all the time, financial futures in jeopardy... many are taking to the streets to vent frustration in ways both healthy and unhealthy to society. Meanwhile, federal forces are massing in these cities in response to unrest, the operation and command of which is obtuse. De escalation unlikely without continued intervention, further escalation possible and perhaps likely in the long run, depending on the outcome of incoming political and societal events.
