Sony REON POCKET in USA (Got it working in USA) 1/3

Ignoring splashy US web content about how great it is - these folks never tried REON POCKET, aka fake news. Anyone who tried to get Sony's new personal Air Conditioner ( REON POCKET ) working in the USA is in for a very rude surprise. Sony has limited REON POCKET to Japan customers only. In iOS they do that by requiring your Apple ID be associated with Japan, which must have a Japan address and Japan phone number! Similar challenges with Android store. Further Sony requires an upgrade upon install that also requires a Japan IP address.(1/3)
