Sony REON POCKET in USA (Got it working in USA) 2/3

Being that I am a techie, I decided to throw down the gauntlet with Sony, and see if I could make it work (I did). So, Skype will give you a Japan phone number for $5, and a simple google search can find a real Japan address (I used a Tokyo FedEx location - zip code is first in listing xxx-xxx format). I also used Tunnel Bear (free) to VPN to Tokyo, which tricked app stores and Sony upgrade servers into thinking I was in Japan. A simple app store search for REON POCKET (using VPN) yielded the software. I had trouble with Android, but that could have been because it was a tablet not a phone, not sure. Since Apple will not let you change your iPhone REGION code without a serious penalty (wont let you change it back for a long time), I opted to get one of my old iPod Touch that I use for app development.
