Microsoft to buy TikTok: the joke of a century

Microsoft is slowly becoming the old yahoo.

Instead of focusing on their core (Windows/azure), these old farts are trying to buy tiktok, an app for young and energetic people?

If this actually happens, do expect to have it turned into BoringTok. They simply don't stand a chance to make this work.

Yeah, I could make this rant a log bigger (I'm a developer) - but M$ has lost its vision long time ago, and now is just throwing money at shiny objects. Another example is Windows 10X, which you could call "Windows 10, but with less features". Sure, it "will be optimized for dual screens" - even though they don't really know if this will actually be a thing, and they've been working on this crap (that probably nobody wants) for over a year.

You would think - Microsoft is too big too fail. Not anymore.

In other words, don't underestimate the power of stupidity combined with arrogance.
