This is nightmare material. In one of the videos, the person recording is far away from the explosion, and he gets underwater in one second(!) after it detonates. A tragedy.
Worth noting that Beirut has already been suffering from hyperinflation and widespread poverty, and the port where this massive explosion took place is their "grain elevator", i.e. 80% of the country's grain comes through it. We might be looking for a real humanitarian crisis...
Also worth noting that Lebanon took on more Syrian refugees per capita than any other country -- I remember reading that it was something like 2 refugees for every 5 residents.
