After reading the "How it works" section, which spends 90% of the text explaining other concepts rather than what this product does, I finally reached the only paragraph offering any sort of explanation:
>We collect a combination of survey data, historical (and benchmarked) user information and engagement metrics to understand the individual employee’s feelings, perspectives and opinions about themselves, their work and their place of work.
Which, well... Doesn't explain much, but certainly makes me worried. As an employee, I do not want my employer to know my "feelings, perspectives, and opinions" about myself.
Maybe it's just me, but if I know that some black-box AI is doing all it can to understand my intimate feelings and perspectives, my productivity will be 0 as I will simply be too anxious that big brother Leon will be tattling to my boss that I don't like my job and they'll begin to replace me.
From an employer perspective, why invest in trying to change my employees feelings? Use the AI to spot those who aren't thankful for the blessed opportunity of working for me, fire them, and find someone who the AI says doesn't have as much self-doubt (or anxiety or whatever).
