I know this poll will be biased towards users who vote in /new but that's what I want to know. What demography is pushing content to the front page?
Side note: Polls on HN feels like a hack. I can't vote on an option myself. No consistent sorting or sequence. I can edit those options too even after someone has voted already which is prone to misinformation.
The sequence seems to be deliberately randomized: it changes every time I reload the page. Maybe it's designed to avoid bias in favor of the first few choices on the list? (Doesn't work well for sorted choices like age ranges, however.)
