I followed the convention "Ask HN:" hoping to get on the ask list which seems to get more discussions. It failed to get on the list. After scratching my head for a while and I found this post: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2100609 . I shouldn't have submit my post without much previous HN activity. My bad...
I am launching a rapid HTML prototyping tool - App Sketcher - for web application development. Wireframe and mockup market have become crowded in the last two years. The approach with App Sketcher is different from most other tools as it's "web native" both at design time and run time. The artifact it produces can feed into downstream development instead of being a thrown-away. I want to get your thoughts on whether the tool is on some niche and whether it has a chance in today's market place. What kind of things (such as pricing, features etc.) can be done to improve the chance? I really appreciate your input.
