Good question, whats our metric to evaluate best?
AFAIK it's the only collection, so the specific metric doesn't really matter
Lots of fond memories playing a modded copy of the original on PC (Custom Edition). It was my first experience seeing how a game's legacy could be totally transformed by a modding scene (looking at you, Elder Scrolls). I really hope they continue to invest in more community-driven content (playlists, forge, etc.)

Halo: Guardians got its forge ported to PC and there was a small community who did custom games on there. I really enjoyed for a while. I'm a pretty casual gamer these days so when I occasionally get in the mood to go play the more traditional modes, I get wiped.

The current headline is “Is this the best collection of Halo games yet?” which is confusing because it’s the only collection I’m aware of that contains all the main series games? And the headline here doesn’t match the headline in the article, in fact that sentence doesn’t appear in the article at all. And lastly... it’s a video game review. On the front page of Hacker News. For a game that’s not new or especially interesting.

Why?
