This is good news but still need to sign a 3 years contract to get that package. I have a first gen phone so not sure what I'll do :/

Yeah, the other thing is that this is only a promotional offer good until August. The problem of the lack of competition in Canada and carriers being able to do whatever they want is unaddressed.

Woo, something semi-usable. Boo, 3 year contract terms. (seriously, this only happens in canada with the 3 years contract terms. I almost want to have some regulation to limit it to 6 months, but regulation is what got us in this mess in the first place)

The iPhone packages are still crap, and they haven't changed at all. This is a BS ploy, plain and simple. Ugh... Back to the stone age for us...
