Ask HN: Hackers Banning Instagram Accounts

Many of our businesses get a good amount of leads using their instagram profiles.

Today a hacker contacted me and threatened me to close my personal instagram account (30 post vanilla family stuff, created in 2010, 300 followers, private, two factor auth enabled)

I resisted.

Within minutes I was logged out and now when I log in a message like this appear:

"Thanks for Providing Your Info We'll review your info and if we can confirm it, you'll be able to request a review in the Help Center within approximately 24 hours."

How is that even possible? Remember the purpose of this is basically showing me how vulnerable are our business ig accounts.

Have you ever faced something like this? did you figure out how to solve it? (lost 30 min exploring all the facebook and instagram support pages with no luck)
