The i9 9880H requires 45 watts of power, an A12 Bionic uses what, 8 watts? Then there is the corresponding difference between active and passive cooling and having a larger mass to soak up heat.

If the first round of Apple Silicon for laptops doesn’t leave the i9 in the dust, someone at Apple needs to be fired.
