Ask HN: Why are WYSIWYG editors not de facto?

We have awesome tools for modeling real 3D models (Solidworks, Autodesk, Onshape, etc.) that do FAR more sophisticated things than your average 2D web page. You can design an entire working engine inside of one tool using only a GUI.

Why the f&*# are people still hand coding React web apps? Making a game in Unity is simpler than making a React app.

What am I missing here?
